| As the picture below shows, the eye is made up of various components. If one of the components of the eye has been damaged in an accident a visual limitation may arise. In many cases this can be remedied with spectacles or with medical treatment. If these corrections do not help (sufficiently) and the person’s eyesight is seriously limited, then that person has a visual impairment. | |||||
