| FAVI works multidisciplinair. Everyone with a visual impairment may apply at the FAVI. The person concerned may also be registered by a third person, as for instance a family member, an eye specialist or some other authority. Each application is followed by a visit by staff members of the FAVI and in consultation a decision is made on the nature of assistance that the FAVI may offer. It is important in this phase to ascertain the degree of visual limitation of the applicant. To that end the eye specialist in attendance will be visited for information. | ||
